pleased Shiv with his Tap and Shiv blessed him to convert those ugly marks
into thousand eyes.
(5) Three people were born wearing earrings and all three had to face the wrath
of Indra, who were they and how did they face his wrath?
Skand, Maruts and Karn - all three were born with earrings.
Indra makes one, Skand, celestial, the General of celestials because of his selfishness - to kill Taarakaasur
Indra attempts to destroy the other one (Maruts) in the womb of Diti, and
Indra killed the third one (Karn) by asking his Kavach and Kundal in alms.
