Chandragupta Maurya 42-44Episode 42
Tapolee people celebrated the death of Kaaravee. Chandragupt took the leave
from the dumb woman (Taarinee) saying that he had to save his own mother
too. Whatever my duties were towards you, I have completed them. Hearing
this from Cghandragupt, Taarinee started crying. Chandragupt said - "Nand
has abducted my mother, I have to release her too, so please let me go now."
and he went away with his friends.
Aambheek King scolded a lot on
joining Alexander, he said - "I did not know that you will be a traitor."
Aambheek said - "Father, he is a great power who will increase our power
also, who will extend Gaandhaar's borders also."

Chaanakya said - "Because it was of Magadh and it was kept for your

your Motherland, but you are not doing that."

"It has gone to that land which you could not protect."
Amaatya suggested that all should be killed, why to waste time?
Nand said - "First give me my money."
"That is flowed away, you will never get it."
"Then give me that boy Chandragupt."
Chaanakya thought that Chandragupt was with Nand, but he was asking him so
it means he was not with him, then where is he?
"Tell me where is Chandragupt? Today we have brought his mother also."
Chaanakya said - "He is not here, I have already sent him to Takshshilaa."
At the same time Chandragupt came there. He saw Nand carrying sword in his hand, so
he hit a stone on his hand and the sword fell from his hand. So he threatened -
"We have your mother." Both Chaanakya and Chandragupt got worried. Nand
called Chandragupt's mother. Seeing his mother Chandragupt also threw his sword.
Nand had kept his sword on
Muraa's neck, Nand's soldier had kept his spear on Chandragupt's neck.
Nand asked him - "What do you want? Your mother or your Guru? If you will
kill your Guru, we will free your mother; and if you will kil your mother,
we will not kill your Guru, so either mother or Guru?"
Chandragupt remembered Dadheechi's
prediction - "You will have a time when you will have to choose one of the
two, and you will choose then you will have to lose the other one for ever."
So he kept thinking about what to do.
Nand suggested - "You will get more Guru, but you will not never get your
mother again."
Chaanakya said - "Do not think about me more. Mother is the first Guru of
the child."
Nand said - "I will give you lots of gold, a house where you can live with
your mother comfortably, you just kill your Guru."
Muraa thought - "I was thinking that Chandragupt has been killed, but he is
alive. If he is alive, it is because of this Aachaarya, If my Chandragupt will
become the king, it will be only because of him." Thinking thus she cut
her throat herself with Nand's sword. Chandragupt came there, Muraa said to
him - "This is not suicide, this is sacrifice. You kill Nand and fulfill
the dream of united Bhaarat of Chaanakya."
Badar Bhatt asked - "What will happen now?"
"Now the time has come to run away from here. This mist will help us to
escape."
Episode 43
We should run away from here in this mist only, and they escaped. Chaanakya
asked Dadheechi also to come along with them, but Dadheechi told him that he
had already disclosed the secret to Nand's people. Nand was still after
Chandragupt, but they all ran away. He told Amaatya to search for Chandragupt.
Amaatya said - "They can go only through this valley and if they had
jumped from here they would not be alive."
Chaanakya and his people were still in hiding. Chandragupt was under the
shock of his mother's death. Chaanakya asked him to rise above his mother's
death and think about his Motherland.
Alexander said to Aambheek -
"So you consider your land as your mother." "Yes, because she
nourishes us."
Poras took out his sword to kill him, but Seleukas held it in between.
Aambheek had killed his father and Sukhdev just looked at it. An Army General
came to see the King, Sukhdev blamed him for killing the King.
Chaanakya distributed most of
the wealth among Tapolee's people and kept some to fight with Nand.
Chandragupt was still unconscious because of his mother's death. When he
came in the senses, he still continued to remember her. He picked an axe and
proceeded towards Nand to kill him, that Chaanakya held him back, he said -
"Not now, If you will kill him it will be like suicide for you. You have to
be the Emperor of the unikted Bhaarat. You don't have to fight with Nand,
but you have to fight with Alexander also who has reached inside Bhaarat for
quite a distance."
Chandragupt said - "After my mother's death, there is only one objective of
my life now - to kill Nand."
Shashaank said - "Aachaarya, Please stop him."
Chaanakya said - "Let him go. Nobody can stop him now."
Nand was very sad on losing
his Treasury - 14 bags full of Neelam (Sapphires), Pukharaaj (Yellow
Sapphires), Motee (Pearls) along with the jewels of Nand Vansh. Nand became
like a mad person. nand said - "Till Chaanakya and Chandragupt are not
killed, n o celebrations will be made in the city."
Chandragupt came to Hans Peak,
made his bow and arrow and set off to kill Nand riding on the horse back. In
between he killed Nand's many guards. Then he came in the palace. Amaatya
said to his people - "I need Chaanakya and that boy." The then one
guard informed him - "One boy has set the fire at the main gate of the
city." Nand was sad for his wealth that Chandragupt came there. He ran
towards Nand and dug his dagger in his chest, that Amaatya also came there.
Episode 44
Amaatya immediately ordered the guards there to arrest him. Chandragupt was
smiling, and Amaatya was also smiling - why? Because the Nand Chandragupt
killed, was fake. Chandragupt got shocked seeing this. His all efforts had
gone waste. Nand said - "You did not recognized me? Come, near me. I
have my 9 forms more. I never go alone anywhere, so that people think that
I am there only, whether I am there or not. Now I prescribe him death sentence
in public."
Chaanakya said - "At this time
Chandragupt was under the effect of his emotions. He could not stop, that is why
I let him go, but when he will come back he will have love and only love. Gill
then we will have to save him because he is the form of United Bhaarat."
Badar Bhatt came to Chaanakya and informed him of coming Indradatt and the
killing of Aambheek King. Hearing about the death of Aambheek King Chaanakya

executioners to cut his head immediately before some other trouble disturbs.
As the executioners were about to kill him, that Nand spoke - "Stop.

there and removed the cloth from his face but still he could not see the fear
in Chandragupt's eyes, so he started beating him, but Chandragupt pushed him
and he fell down. Soldiers who were standing nearby caught Chandragupt. At
the same time Shashaank came there with his fellows and they all took Nand
at their swords. He handed over Chandragupt to Badar Bhatt.
Seeing all this Nand got very
angry and he ordered to burn the whole Lokhandee. Badar Bhatt brought
Chandragupt to Chaanakya. Chandragupt was unconscious, when he came in
senses, Chaanakya asked him - "Do you have any idea what did you do?"
"I wanted to take revenge of my mother's killing, but could not take. In
fact I could not do anything. I could not fulfill even my mother's last wish."
and he started crying bitterly clinging to Chaanakya's legs. Chaanakya took him
to his mother's pyre and said to him - "Who has gone, we have no duty towards
him, but what we have, we have duty towards it."
Chandragupt said - "We have not lost all, she has left a purpose for me
behind her. Now whatever happens I will fulfill her wish at any cost."
Chaanakya said - "Whether the enemy is local or foreigner, you will build
the United Bhaarat. You yourself will become a ... from this ... who will not sit
quietly without destroying him." "I promise." and Chandragupt set
the fire to his mother's pyre.
