3-15-Information From Raamaayan

After reading Raamaayan one can extract some extra information

(1) Baal Kaand
--Dasharath had a daughter also, Shaantaa,  whom he gave to his friend King Rompaad. Her husband Rishya Shring Rishi performed the Yagya for Dasharath to get sons.

(2) Ayodhyaa Kaand
--Dasharath was doubtful from Kaikeyee or from Bharat's side about the coronation of Raam. That is why he did not tell Kaikeyee and did not call Bharat from his maternal father's house.

--Dasharath had altogether 350 wives.

--Raam, Seetaa and Lakshman's behavior on ordering to go to forest is shown quite different in Vaalmeeki Raamaayan in comparison of Tulasee's Maanas.

--Lakshman did not take leave from his wife Urmila. In fact there is no mention of Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughn's wives in this Kaand.

--Raam does a Vaastu Bali before occupying his hermitage in Chithrakoot

--Raam offers Pind Daan to his departed father with a fruit pulp and a fruit juice.
