Brahm Vaivart Puraan is the 10th Puraan in the row of 18 Puraan. This Puraan is divided and contains 18,000 Shlok (verses).

Vaivart or appearance is a term used in the A-Dwait Vedaant. This Puraan is Krishn centric. It describes Durgaa, Lakshmee, Saraswatee etc, as evolved from Mool Prakriti as per the desire of Krishn. Krishn Janm Kaand describes the story of Krishn and Raadhaa. There are stories of Shanmukh and Ganesh. It contains Ganesh Kavach also. There are some mundane subjects also in this Puraan, like Aayur Ved, rules for building construction, bathing in Gangaa and its benefits, greatness of Tulasee, code of conduct of women etc.
