Yadu Vansh

Agni Dev said - "Vashishth Jee, Now you listen to Yadu Vansh. Yadu had 5 sons - (1) Neelaanjak, (2) Raghu, (3) Kroshtu, (4) Shatjit, and (5) Sahstrajit. Shatjit had 3 sons - Haihaya, Renuhaya and Haya. Haihaya had the son named Dharmnetra and Dharmnetra had the son named Sanhat. Sanhat's son was Mahimaa, Mahimaa's son was Bhadrasen. Bhadrasen's son was Durgam, Durgam's son was Kanak, and Kanak had 4 sons - Kritveerya, Kritaagni, Karaveerak and Kritaujaa. Kritveerya's son was Arjun. Arjun did Tapasyaa, so pleased with his Tap Dattaatreya gave him the Lordship of 7 Dweep, 1,000 arms, being invincible in any war. He told him this also that when you will incline towards A-Dharm, you will be killed by Vishnu. Arjun did 10,000 Yagya. Whoever just remembered him, he did not lose his wealth. Kaartveerya Arjun had 100 sons, among them 5 were main - Shoorsen, Shoor, Dhrishtokt, Krishn and Jayadhwaj. Jayadhwaj was the King of Avantee, he had a son named Taaljangh. Taaljangh had several sons who also became known as Taaljangh. Haihaya Vanshee Kshatriya had 5 families - Bhoj, Avanti, Veetihotra, Swayamjaat, and Shaundikeya. Veetihotra's son was Anant and Ananat's son was Durjaya.

Now you listen to about Kroshtu Vansh in which Vishnu incarnated. Kroshtu's son was Vrijineevaan, Vrijineevaan's son was Swaahaa, Swaahaa's son was Rushadgu, and Rushadgu's son was Chitrarath. Chitrarath's son was Shashbindu who was a Chakravartee king. He always worshipped Vishnu. He had 10,000 sons. They all were intelligent, handsome and wealthy. Among them Prithushravaa was the eldest. His son was Suyagya. Suyagya's son was Ushanaa, Ushanaa's son was Titikshaa, Titikshu's son was Marutt, Marutt's son was Kambalbarhish (whose other name was Rukmkavach). Rukmkavach had Rukmeshu, Prithurukmak, Havi, Jyaamagh, and Paapaghn etc 50 sons. Among these Jyaamagh loved his wife Shaivyaa very much. He had a son named Vidarbh from her.

Vidarbh had three sons - Kaushik, Lompaad, and Krath. Among them Lompaad was the best. He had a son named Kriti, Kaushik's son was Chidi and his descendents were known as "Chaidya". Krath's son was Kunti, Kunti's son was Dhrishtak, Dhrishtak's son was Dhriti, and Dhriti's son was Vidoorath. Vidoorath was known as "Dashaarh" also. Dashaarh's son Vyom, Vyom's son was Jeemoot, Jeemoot's son was Vikal, and his son was Bheemarath. Bheemarath's son was Navarath, Navarath's son was Dridhrath, Dridhrath's son was Shakunti, Shakunti's son was Karambh, and Karambh's son was Devaraat. Devaraat's son Devkshetra, Devakshetra's son was Madu, Madhu's son was Dravaras, Dravaras' son was Puruhoot, and Puruhoot's son was Jantu.

Jantu's son was Saatwat. Saatwat had 4 sons - Bhajamaan, Vrishni, Andhak and Devaavridh. All Vansh are well-known. Bhajamaan had 3 sons - Baahya, Vrishti, Krimi, and Nimi. Devaavridh's son was Babhru. It is written about him that he was the best among men and was like Devtaa. Babhru had 4 sons - Kukur, Bhajamaan, Shini, and Kambalbarhish - all were the devotee of Vaasudev. Kukur's son was Dhrishnu, Dhrishnu's son was Dhriti, Dhriti's son was Kapotaromaa and his son was Tittiri. Tittiri's son was Nar, and Nar's son was Aanakdundubhi. Aanakdundubhi's son was Punarvasu and Punarvasu's son was Aahuk from his wife Aahukee. Aahuk had 2 sons - Devak and Ugrasen. Devak had 4 sons - Devavaan, Upadev, Sahadev, and Devarakshit; and 7 daughters - (1) Devakee, (2) Shrutdevee, (3) Mitradevee, (4) Yashodharaa, (5) Shreedevee, (6) Satyadevee, and (7) Suraapee. Devak married all his daughters to Vasudev. Ugrasen had 9 sons - (1) Kans, (2) Nyagrodh, (3) Sunaamaa, (4) Kank, (5) Shanku, (6) Sutanu, (7) Raashtrapaal, (8) Yuddhmushtik, and (9) Sumushtik.

Bhajamaan's son was Vidoorath, he had 2 sons - Raajaadhidev and Shoor. Raajaadhidev had 2 sons - Shonaashwa and Shwetvaahan. Shonaashwa had 5 sons - Shamee, Shatrujit etc. Shamee's son was Pratikshetra, Pratikshetra's son was Bhoj, Bhoj's son was Hridik. Hridik had 10 sons. Among them Kritvarmaa, Shatdhanvaa, Devaarh, and Bheeshan etc were main. Devaarh's son was Kambalbarhi, Kambalbarhi's son was Asamaujaa, Asamaujaa had 3 sons - Sudransht, Suvaas and Dhrisht. Dhrisht had 2 wives - Gaandhaaree and Maadree. Gaandhaaree gave birth to Sumitra and Maadree gave birth to Yudhaajit. Dhrisht had 2 sons more - Anamitra and Shini. Shini's son was Devameedhush, and Anamitra's son was Nighn and Nighn had 2 sons - Prasen and Satraajit.

Satraajit got Syamantak Mani from Soorya Dev. Once Prasenjit was wandering in a forest with the aim of hunting along with the Mani. A lion killed him and took that Mani. After that Jaambvaan killed that lion and took that Mani from him and after this Krishn defeated Jaambvaan in a dual fight and returned to Dwaarakaa taking that Mani and marrying his daughter Jaambvatee. He gave that Mani to Satraajit, but to take that Mani, Shatadhanvaa killed Satraajit. Krishn killed Shatadhanvaa and took that Mani from him. later He gave that Mani to Akroor in front of Balaraam and some chief Yadu Vanshee people. Who reads this story he attains Swarg. Satraajit had one son named Bhangkaar and one daughter named Satyabhaamaa. He married his daughter to Krishn.

Anamitra's son was Shini, Shini's son was Satyak and Satyak's ws Saatyaki. He was known as Yuyudhaan also. His son was Dhuni, Dhuni's son was Yugandhar. Yudhaajit's son was Swaahya, Swaahya's son was Rishabh, Rishabh's son was Kshetrak, and Kshetrak's son was Shwaphalk. Shwaphalk's son was Akroor. Akroor's son was Sudhanvak. Shoor had the sons named Vasudev etc and Prithaa named daughter. [Prithaa was married to Paandu.] Paandu and Prithaa had the sons named Yudhishthir from the part of Dharm, Bheem from the part of Vaayu and Arjun from the part of Indra. [Paandu's other wife Maadree] had 2 sons - Nakul and Sahadev from the part of Ashwinee Kumaar.

Vasudev and Rohinee had 3 sons - Balaraam, Saaran, and Durgam; and he had 7 sons from Devakee - Sushen, Keertimaan, Bhadrasen, Jaarukhya, Vishnudaas, Bhadradeh and Krishn. The first 6 sons were killed by Kans, then Balaraam and Krishn were born. In the last Subhadraa was born. Krishn had Chaarudeshn, Saamb etc sons. Saamb was Jaambvatee's son.

Krishn's Queens, His Sons, and 12 Battles

Agni Dev said - "Vashishth, Maharshi Kashyap incarnated as Vasudev and Devakee was the incarnation of Aditi, and Krishn was the son of Vasudev and Devakee. He was a great Tapaswee and His aim to incarnate on Prithvi was to protect Dharm, destruction of A-Dharm and Daitya. Rukminee, Satyabhaamaa and Nagnjit's daughter Satyaa were Krishn's dear queens. Even among them Satyabhaamaa was especially dear to Him. Besides them He had Gaandhaar Princess Lakshmanaa, Mitravindaa, Kaalindee, Jaambvatee, Susheelaa, Maadree, Kausalyaa, Vijayaa and Jayaa etc 16,000 wives. Rukminee had the son Pradyumn, and Satyabhaamaa gave birth to Bheem etc sons. Krishn had 10,080,000 (1 Crore 80 thousand) sons. All Yaadav were secured by Krishn.

Pradyumn [was married to Vidarbh Princess Rukmvatee] and had a son from her Aniruddh. Aniruddh loved to fight. He had the son named Vajra. All Yaadav were 30 million (3 Crore) in number. At that time 6,000,000 (60 Lakh) Daanav were born as human beings who were afflicting people. To destroy the same Vishnu incarnated as Krishn on Prithvi.

Devtaa and Daitya fought 12 battles for their shares -

(1) Narasinh - Narasinh Bhagavaan tore Hiranyakashyap's heart and appointed Prahlaad as Daitya's King.
(2) Vaaman - At the time Dev-Asur Sangraam He appeared as Vaaman and returned Trilok kingdom to Indra by cheating Daitya King Bali.
(3) Varaah Sangraam (battle) - He incarnated as Varaah and killed Hiranyaaksh and took out sank Prithvi in water.
(4) Amrit Manthan - Once Devtaa and Asur jointly churned the sea making Vaasuki as churning rope and Mandaraachal as churning rod and took out Amrit. Bhagavaan gave all Amrit to Devtaa that is why both had a great fight.
(5) Taarakaamaya Sangraam- Brahmaa stopped Devtaa and Daanav from fighting and established Som Vansh.
(6) Aajeevak - In this fight, Vishwaamitra, Vashishth and Atri etc Rishi killed Daanav and protected Devtaa.
(7) Tripur - In this battle, Shiv set off to destroy Tri-Pur seated on Prithvi-chariot yoking Ved-horses. Vishnu set on an arrow and destroyed Tri-Pur.
(8) Andhak Vadh - Andhakaasur troubled a lot with the intention to abduct Gauree, so he killed him.
(9) Vritra Vighaatak Sangraam - To kill Vritraasur, Vishnu sat on Indra's Vajra as the foam of water.
(10) Jit - Hari incarnated as Parashuraam and won Shaalv etc Daanav.
(11) Haalaahal - Bhagavaan made Devtaa fearless by asking Shiv to destroy the Daitya appeared as Halaahal poison coming out from Saagar Manthan by drinking it.
(12) Ghor Kolaahal - There was a Daitya named Kolaahal in Dev-Asur Sangraam, He killed him.

All - princes, Muni, kings, Devtaa, are the forms of Bhagavaan.
