Rin Vimochan Stotra

This is a prayer to Lord Narasinh to get rid of the debt of Karm that have to be eliminated without which salvation cannot be achieved. The powers of these Shlok are profound and overwhelming and the regular recital of them would invariably relieve everyone of their sufferings and difficulties. This is a very powerful Stotra that when recited regularly will relieve people of their debts and insolvency however severe and acute. Recitation of Mantra generates sounds which are divine in character. This sound is alive and you feel its strength in every part of you. A spiritual aspirant cannot deny its psychological effect and spiritual significance. It is in the intrinsic nature of sacred sound to bring human being into contact with the divine. It enables man to feel the spiritual presence and to find it in the cavity of his own heart. Although we could pray anywhere, but if the prayer is done properly and with utmost devotion, you can get a glimpse of the Supreme.

Shree narasinham mahaaveeram namaami rin muktaye.

The Rin Vimochan Stotra is contained in the Narasinh Puraan. Every individual incurs three kinds of debt at birth. These are Dev Rin (debt to the Devtaa), Rishi Rin (debt to Rishi) and Pitri Rin (debt to one's ancestors). The debt could be explained also as the debt of Karm, which we have to get rid off to attain salvation. These are repaid by offering Aahuti in Yagya, performing Ved Adhyayan (Ved study) under great masters (sages), and performing Tarpan and Shraaddh, respectively. However, these debts are so great that they cannot be repaid in one's lifetime. The Rin referred to in this Stotra is also the bondage arising from one's Karm on account of Saansaarik (worldly) association. The Rin Vimochan Stotram extols the munificent grace of Shree
Narasinh Bhagavaan, as a result of which an individual is absolved of these debts.

This Stotra contains 9 verses. The first 8 verses glorify various attributes of Shree Narasinh Bhagavaan , each verse ending with the line "Shree narasinham mahaaveeram namaami rin muktaye". Verse 9 contains the Phal Shruti for this Stotra. The salutations "Narasinham" and "Mahaaveeram" have their origins in the most sacred "Narasinh Anushtup Mantram".

Granting boons to devotees takes on special significance in this context. Shree Bhagavaan incarnated as Narasinh from the pillar in Hiranyakashyap's Sabhaa (royal court) to rush to the succor of his Bhakt. One verse extols the back-to-back forms of Sudarshan and Narasinh. The foremost characteristic of the Sudarshan Chakra is to destroy ones sins and point a supplicant in the direction of the Supreme. Sudarshan is the fierce Jwaalaa (fire) which forms the center of the Kaal Anal (fire at the end of time - Pralaya).
