How Many Raakshas     A-J   |   K-M   |   N-S   |   T-Z   |   Others

Reading through the scriptures, I came across through some of the important information about many things. The information about Raakshas is summarized below with most Raakshas and Raakshas women (Raakshas' wives. sisters or daughters etc) names and their brief necessary details. It was very difficult to remember their names and their genealogy and relationship with other Raakshas. That is why this list has been prepared - to bring all those names here at one place and show their relationship with each other, Some have their short description, some have their detailed description, while some do not have at all. In fron of the name there is the source of the name -
Ram = Raamaayan
V-R = Vaalmeeki Raamaayan
MBH = Mahaabhaarat
Bhag = Bhaagvat Puraan

There are a few Raakshas who were Braahman, such as - Alambooshaa, Jataasur, Raavan, Kumbhkarn, Vibheeshan, Vritraasur
